The Gaskell RETRO takes 1960's Vintage styling and blends it with 21st Century technology to make the perfect retro style left handed guitar. 

Although no Gaskell guitar is a clone of any other, the Retro is clearly inspired by the Italian guitar styling that ruled the 1960's. This vintage styling has become popular again today with many new bands as well as 50's & 60's Revival bands. 

Sound-wise, the Gaskell Retro is a relative of the Telecaster®. But compare a Telecaster to a Retro. Which one is the boring looking one? If  you want "jingle jangle" and the bling to go with it, then the Gaskell RETRO is the guitar for you!

As this is a Vintage style guitar, stock standard this guitar isn't going to impress Hard Rock and Metal guitarists. It's vintage, low-output pickups will give you an excellent 1960's Jazz, Pop, Rock or even Country & Western sound but this is definitely not the guitar for "shredders."
