Custom Left Handed Guitars

This iconic V guitar was created by the legendary Randy Rhoads. After his tragic death in 1982, Randy's subsequent design became the first ever Jackson® guitar. We named ours after the native New Zealand fern whose stylized shape is similar to the shape of the guitar.

The Koru comes with pinstriping, a Fender®-style tremolo-enabled bridge, a Gibson® style C-neck with block inlays, and all gold hardware. (It can be pre-ordered without pinstriping too.) These were all Randy's original preferences. Like most Gaskell guitars, the Koru has our own Gaskell "duck bill" headstock.

One of the major benefits of a V guitar like this is the excellent cutaway which enables you to easily get all the way up to the top of the fretboard and get to the highest notes. If you are a guitar shredder, then you need this extra accessibility for better precision and speed. There is no better guitar design than a V-shape guitar for that sort of thing.

Hundreds of famous guitarists have continued to use this style of guitar in the 30 years since it was first made. Now left handed guitarists can too!
