The Gaskell FIRESTARTER LIMITED EDITION started out as a Custom Shop variant of our regular Firestarter model and in 2011 we decided to make it a production model too. The Limited Edition version has several differences to the Firestarter which makes it additionally unique. Our regular Firestarter model comes with full size humbucking pickups. The Limited Edition comes with three "toaster" mini-humbuckers, the sum of which produce the most amazing Blues sound with incredible warmth and unbelievable depth. Unique to the Firestarter Limited Edition is that it comes with a solid flamed maple cap over a three piece mahogany body. This is a real, solid maple cap, not a photofinish. A gorgeous two-tone (tobacco) sunburst finish highlights the flame. You will never find a left handed Firebird style guitar like this anywhere other than through a Custom Shop, and then of course that's 5 or 6 x the price! Gaskell makes left handed guitars no one else does. The Gaskell FIRESTARTER LIMITED EDITION is one of them. |
