Custom Left Handed Guitars

This iconic V guitar was created by the legendary Randy Rhoads. After his tragic death in 1982, Randy's design became the first ever Jackson® guitar. Other guitar brands today also make variants of this Randy Rhoads design.

The Gaskell KORU (named after the shape of the native New Zealand fern) is inspired by Randy's original pre-Jackson design. This is as close to Randy's original vision as you will ever get. Exactly like the original, the Koru has Randy's pinstripe finish, his choice of a Fender®-style tremolo-enabled bridge, a Gibson® style C-neck with block inlays, and all gold hardware. (It can be pre-ordered without pinstriping too.) Like most Gaskell guitars, the Koru has our own Gaskell "duck bill" headstock.

We also offer this guitar in a special and unique colour: "Rock Chic Pink" for lefty girl guitarists, or for those wanting to make a statement. This is the only Gaskell model we do in that colour as a standard option.

Randy Rhoads was one of the greatest guitarists of the 20th Century. The design and options on this guitar were by his choice and preference. He made it this way for good reason. You too can now experience some of the mindset and legend of the great Randy Rhoads, every time you play the Gaskell Koru!
